Reading your cycle and your mood together

Log where you are in your cycle and how you feel, and after a few days the pattern underneath starts to show. The reading follows the four-phase tradition — inner winter, spring, summer and autumn — and describes what each phase tends to ask for. It is for reflection, not diagnosis.

Where this comes from

How it works

  1. Check in with where you are and how you feel.
  2. After three logged days the reading has something to work with.
  3. Your phase is read against the pattern in your own entries.

Common questions

Is this medical advice?

No. This is for self-reflection and entertainment only. It is not medical advice, and anything about your health belongs with a healthcare professional.

What are the four phases?

Menstrual (inner winter), follicular (spring), ovulatory (summer) and luteal (autumn). The tradition reads each as asking for something different — rest, beginning, output, and sorting.

How many days do I need to log?

At least three before a reading is offered. More entries make the pattern clearer.

What if my cycle is irregular?

The reading works from what you log rather than from an assumed 28 days, and it records irregular patterns as their own case.
